Band / Grade: Salary Scale : AED 20,000 – AED 25,000Reports to:General Manager
II.   KEY RESULTS AREAS  (Key Accountabilities) 
1. Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency
2. Coordinate with transporters & forwarders for pulp & finished goods loading & offloading.
3. Ensure timely delivery of shipped raw materials through proper coordination with purchase department.
4. Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
5. Coordinate with internal & external shipping department personnel regarding to global logistics requirements & shipment clearing from customs’.
6. Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
7. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
8. Participate in carrier management processes for logistics & warehouse employees, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
9. Arrange best quotes from local transporters; prepare price comparison sheets, Negotiate transportation rates or services for management approvals.
10. Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
11. Ensure full compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
12. Ensure that all personnel understand the company’s Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and departmental objectives implements corresponding Management programs.
13. Direct the department operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
14. Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services.
15. Coordinate with suppliers or customers, or internal departments to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
16. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
17. Recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated systems.
18. Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
19. Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.  
20. Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies. 21. Direct or coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions with al concerned departments for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
22. Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services.
23. Review global, national, or regional transportation or logistics policies for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities, maximize productivity m & reduce costs.
24. Conduct or review several related audits for logistics activities, such as storage, distribution, or transportation.  
1. Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
2. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution of finished goods , raw materials , & spare parts
3. Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
4. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
5. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
6. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
7. Prepare annual budget & discuss with management for further approval.
8. Plan work rotes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
9. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
10 Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

  Diploma Specialization or Degree                           Certification        BS Degree in Logistics , Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
5-10 years in experience in the same field/capacity.  
Work Environment: Moderate noise  (office environment)Work in office hours
